Our proprietary approach to measuring and optimizing marketing investment decisions,Enterprise Marketing Return (EMR),is disrupting the industry and setting the gold standard for customer and marketing strategy, activation, and measurement. Recognizedeightconsecutive years on Star Tribune’s list of Top 150 Workplaces andfiveyears on Inc. 5000’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, we pride ourselves in always overdelivering for our clients, our teams, and our communities.About the RoleOvative’s company vision is to “Transform the measure of marketing success” and the Measurement Solutions team is a critical driver of our differentiation and success.The Measurement Solutions team is responsible for turning data into action for our clients.  We help to simplify the complexities of Marketing Measurement and provide our clients with the confidence to make decisions that drive real impact to their business.In this role, you’ll drive the measurement strategy and execution for a portfolio of clients.  You’ll lead a team of measurement experts responsible for developing measurement strategies, managing data processes, implementing MMM and MTA solutions, leading testing & experimentation, generating standard and ad hoc reporting, and performing analyses leading to insights and action.  Your team will leverage a mix of Ovative propriety tech through our EMRge solution, as well as, best-in-class 3rd party tools and solutions to meet your client’s needs.  You’ll partner closely with internal Data Science, Client Services, Media Activation, and Product teams, and you’ll interact directly with key client stakeholders, ranging from C-level executives to functional operators across media, finance and analytics functions.This role has the opportunity to drive significant value for Ovative and our clients.  You’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry, facing challenging problems, and surrounded by a world-class team.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires innovative and structured thinking and problem-solving, this role will be a great fit.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Empowering Others:Lead, manage, and develop multiple teams of high-performing marketing measurement expertsManage and develop individual team leaders, supporting career growth and individual successPartner with other Measurement Solutions leaders to drive the direction, vision, roadmap, and execution of the Measurement Solutions team strategyDefine and drive strategy across team structure, roles, development, and clientsWork across internal Ovative teams to move roadblocks, figure out new solutions, and find ways to achieve Ovative goals working togetherLead efforts to grow and evolve our Measurement skills, knowledge, toolset, product offerings, and cultureClient Engagement:Work with leadership (client and internal) to review services, identifying areas for improvement and altering strategies and scopeShow up as senior measurement leader during crucial client moments to support the team and help guide everyone to successful outcomesProvide business development support, assisting with strategy/messaging and liaising with prospective clients to refine scopes of workThought Leadership:Address complex, open-ended analytics requests in a structured manner (often by working with your teams and other Ovative partners or clients)Identify & focus on what matters most to move the client's business forwardLead efforts to grow and evolve our consulting & advisory skills to drive project-based expansions with new and existing clientsSubject matter expertise:Develop deep understanding of marketing measurement technology and how it impacts data/analytics/clients-businessConnect client data/business trends and tell a compelling story to clients and other partners in order to provide clarity and help leaders understand businessHelp connect the measurement work Ovative does to our clients business models, goals, and challengesOvative Leadership:Join the extended Leadership Team at Ovative: participate in several monthly leadership forums focused on team, business, client, and strategic initiatives; regularly interact with the founder and CEO on important efforts to strengthen and grow OvativeEngage in and lead strategic internal initiatives across Ovative, bringing forward subject matter expertise and structured problem-solving approaches to build foundation for growthSupport Ovative’s own strategy development and strategic planning process, along with the Measurement team’s strategyRequirements & Skills Needed7-10 years of experience working with clients (internal or external)3+ years experience managing team(s) of 5+ sizeExperience within marketing industry (digital marketing preferred)Experience working with MMM/MTA marketing modelsExperience with designing and reading media tests & experimentsExperience managing large data sets and summarizing in useful reporting viewsExcellent communicator & collaborator between multiple stakeholders & partnersExperience communicating and partnering with executive leaders (Directors, VPs, CMOs, CFOs, etc)Must be able to thrive working in ambiguous situationsAction oriented, self-driven hunger to take immediate action and make decisions quicklyPrefer experience working with web analytics data, such as digital marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, ViQ, etc)Prefer experience connecting complex marketing data & situations into tangible actions to progress initiatives forwardPay TransparencyAt Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus.Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact.
