Lead Security Splunk Engineer

Role: Lead Security EngineerLocation: Remote, Northeast USA PreferredCompensation: 140-180k base + bonus depending on experienceAn exciting and growing cyber security company is looking for a Lead Security Engineer to lead technical engineering efforts for client environments with a focus on Splunk. As a lead, you will be a technical SME for other engineers on the team as well as to customers.Responsibilities:Advise and support efforts within Splunk, security orchestration and TenableEngineering/architecture tasks for onboarding new service clients as well as enhancing existing client environmentsOptimize Splunk Enterprise Core & Splunk Enterprise SecurityDevelop Splunk reports, searches, dashboards, alertsTroubleshoot SOAR architecture/playbook configurations as well as develop content and playbooksPerform vulnerability analysis, recommending remediations for clientsContribute to new service offeringsRequirementsBachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in Infosec field/relevant experience including 3+ years directly in Splunk environmentStrong understanding of security operations and conceptsLinux/windows proficiencyExperience with SOAR technologies and vulnerability management toolsScripting experience in powershell, bash, pythonSplunk Enterprise Certified Architect and/or ConsultantIf you are interested in joining a growing cybersecurity firm, please apply to Shelley at Huxley!EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
