DescriptionWe are seeking a Corporate Controller to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and efficient operation of the accounting department. You will oversee all accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will also take a leading role in the implementation of our ERP system and the design of internal controls. Responsibilities: • Oversee and supervise the accounting department functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger• Ensure the timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements in line with GAAP• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and procedures for improved efficiency and financial accuracy• Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements• Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring their timely completion• Act as a subject matter expert and leader in the ERP implementation, spearheading testing and developing process improvements• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment• Keep the team updated on best practices in accounting and finance• Utilize accounting software systems, CRM, and Crystal Reports for efficient financial reporting and management.Requirements• Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role as Corporate Controller & CPA Ability to establish and build relationships with geographically dispersed team members; travel up to 25%• Proficiency in using 3M is essential.• Should have extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems.• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is required.• Must be adept at using CRM.• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a must.• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.• Should have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.• Must have hands-on experience in Auditing.• Should have a solid understanding of Budget Processes.Job typePerm
