This position is for Aludyne's West Michigan plants, located in Benton Harbor and Stevensville. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:Recruit and hire for internal & external candidate solicitations to fill vacant positionsInterviewing employment candidatesHiring and orientating selected candidates, including compilation of related paperworkMonitor departmental staffing, maintain balance between operational needs & budgeted headcountEmployee communications, postings, functions & eventsMaintain staffing rosters for recruiting & labor budget management purposesCollect manual & electronic data about staffing transfers, vacancies, labor budget adjustments, & overall workforce status; manipulate HR software and Excel staffing databases/spreadsheetsSeek continuous improvement in standard HR practices & procedures, overall employment practices, policies & other related areasProcess payroll for hourly workforce Requirements: 2+ years HR generalist experience2+ years Recruiting hourly employees within a manufacturing environment Ability to be creative regarding recruitingLabor & employment law, especially MichiganPC/HRIS applications; MS Office Suite, Paylocity or similar is a plus General business acumenEmployees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary PreferredBachelor's degree in HR, or related field Manufacturing experience Aludyne is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, or other legally protected status.
