Looking for an experienced Helicopter Aviation Logistics Coordinator at the Grand Canyon

We are seeking a skilled Helicopter Aviation Logistics Coordinator with aviation experience to join our team at Grand Canyon, Arizona. This role involves coordinating flights, rig parts, and managing materials for transport into the inner canyon. Ideal candidates will have a background in aviation and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Our team is engaged in a project to replace the water line spanning from the North Rim to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, alongside various other tasks. We operate on an 8-day on, 6-day off schedule, providing lodging and three meals daily. Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule flight plans for the work rotation.
• Input flight plans into Microsoft excel and email to the HP, NPS and SEI teams.
• Help rig and check rigging on all sling loads headed into the inner canyon at helicopter pad area.
• Make sure all rigging is safe and in good working condition.
• Make sure loading area is safe and clear of any FOD in or around the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education/Experience

• High School diploma / GED
• 4+ years' experience

Working Conditions

• Physical environment: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to dust, noise, chemicals, and solvents. Exposure to power equipment.
• Employee will be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• Depending upon project requirements, working conditions may include working in confined spaces and/or working with heights.

Physical Demands

• frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Essential functions of this job require employees to have the ability to quickly move hands, hand together with arm or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. In addition, the ability to make precise coordinated movements of the fingers on one or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects is also required.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Position is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screen, DMV check and Reference check.
