DALLAS TX PLANT MANAGER - ASPHALT

A Paving and Hot Mix Asphalt producer client is seeking the above candidate. This client cares about their staff and culture and is seeking the right fit to join their Asphalt family. Company has been around 100yrs and serves both commercial and industrial industries. Company serves all paving needs and more, including grading, milling, stone and base work, concrete, pavement texturizing and coloring, and hot-in-place recycling. This role is delegated full authority, consistent with the responsibility for the administration, control, direction and supervision of all processing plant responsibilities.

Qualifications Highlight

  • Ideal Candidate has minimum 3 years in a management role within the Asphalt Production Industry
  • Candidate will be oversee Plant and report directly to the company VP of Operations
  • Project Experience includes: highways, subdivisions, shopping malls, commercial parking facilities, industrial drives/roads/loading bays, and more
  • Oversee • Safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, MSHA) First Aid • Plant operations, safety, maintenance & repair
  • Candidate would oversee direct reports including Plant Foremen, Plant Groundmen, Plant Loader Operators, Crusher Operator, Crusher Loader Operators
  • Technology Skills: • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote Outlook • Slack (Collaboration Software) • XBE (Construction Software) • Laserfiche (Digital Record Keeping software) • Spectrum (Accounting Software) • Monday.com • Mix Designer Database
  • Technical Skills: • Planning and scheduling, Project Management
  • Ability to forecast and plan up to a month in advance
  • Knowledge of equipment used to complete all phases of a heavy highway job
