About You:
Ogilvy is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to support global social projects and workstreams and maintain their forward momentum. You will help define and ensure milestones are met, coordinate SMEs across time zones and offices and support the client relationship across the social business. You provide air cover to our strategy team on global projects, support operational activities, drive agile sprints on transformation streams shared with clients, and make the work run smoother and the final output better.
You will have the challenging responsibility of being the foundation for team functionality. The perfect candidate will be responsible for project managing and scoping specific projects with discreet budgets, timelines and teams as well as monitoring and advancing overall social best practices and processes, connecting dots across stakeholders and workstreams, and regularly meeting with and securing information from social teams in markets across the network.
You will ensure clear communications and comprehension is in place on social efforts, advocate for best-in-class social work, and ensure a cycle of delivery that adheres to a certain level of quality. You will ensure that a predefined "definition of done" is determined and adhered to at all times and has a clear mandate to deliver.
You should feel comfortable evaluating opportunities and strategies in social strategy and content projects with influencer, content, commerce, and tech components.
You will be working with multiple teams within the client organization and within Ogilvy and a myriad of agencies within WPP and must be comfortable asking questions, reading the room, and managing up to matrixed stakeholders on the agency and client side.

What You'll Do:
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right people to remove the impediment.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Maintain a line of sight on social workstreams and be prepared to speak to progress in an executive summary format to stakeholders.
- Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
- Act as a trusted POC for Client and internal team communications and build strong relationships. Be convincing. And, ensure the team has what it needs to create great work.
- Work with the team and client stakeholders to instill and enforce processes, workflows and tools that support the successful delivery of client work.
- Set up and host meetings (reviews, stakeholder interviews, statuses, workshops, etc.) and capture actionable takeaways, next steps and insights.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of communications and documentation, including status reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports, asset management, presentations.
- Ensure projects adhere to timeline. Identify and communicate changes in timeline, including implications. This job requires moving quickly across time zones.
- Engage with cross-discipline teams to assist with dependencies and related support.
- Communicate production status & deliverable expectations to stakeholders.
- Generate regular reporting and maintain updated scoping assessments, including scope expansion opportunities.
- Oversee completion of daily assignments, including but not limited to research, strategy development, content planning and production, tagging/trafficking, reporting and optimizing, paid spend planning and tracking, etc.

- Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills needed to counsel and work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders around the world
- Advanced competency in core professional skills, especially attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
- Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations while managing confidential information appropriately and professionally
- Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others
- Solid knowledge of social media best practices, digital trends and the social media landscape
- Familiarity with social media and influencer content management & listening platforms like Sprinklr, Ads Manager, Creator Studio, Creator IQ, Netbase, and social media go-to tools
- Creative thinker who can bring new ideas and keep our client brands relevant
- 4+ years of experience with emphasis in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy or community management
- Ability to navigate an organization and a variety of personalities and build consensus
- Ability to apply analytical skills to develop insights and presentations to leadership team
