About the Role
As an Associate Director, Social Strategy you will launch and lead the day-to-day social strategy for a global brand(s) account within the Social division. This role is for a strong senior strategist with deep expertise in brand growth within the social space. You will be a key team member of a large integrated team driving strong strategic and creative evolution across a wide range of workstreams and projects.

Pay Range
$75,000 - $180,000 USD

About the Role
As an Associate Director, Social Strategy you will launch and lead the day-to-day social strategy for a global brand(s) account within the Social division. This role is for a strong senior strategist with deep expertise in brand growth within the social space. You will be a key team member of a large integrated team driving strong strategic and creative evolution across a wide range of workstreams and projects.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day social work streams under the guidance of the Sr. Director, Social
- Ability and experience managing up to senior leadership internally and externally
- Strategically grow and guide clients across multiple workstreams including social playbooks and strategies, always on and real time content creation, brand campaign planning, trend and platform research, and reporting
- Oversee briefs to meet modern marketing needs, ensuring seamless integration from concept to content hand in hand with creative teams
- Collaborate with creative leads to ensure high-quality social first creative work
- Integrate and advocate social with other disciplines: PR, Brand Strategy, Customer Engagement, Data & Analytics, and Media
- Develop, Innovate and implement key strategic social frameworks
- Manage, develop, and mentor junior social strategy team members
- Act as a trusted social strategic partner for major accounts and new business
- Partner with Account leads to strategically guide the business
- Proactively finding and upselling opportunities for stronger social excellence
- Continuously finding better ways to work efficiently and drive collaboration across agency teams
What You'll Need
- 5-7 years of social experience in an agency environment
- Deep social expertise with an in-depth understanding of social platform best practices, specs, and functionality
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the social space beyond day-to-day account work
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams, leading with empathy and a focus on success for the team as a whole
- Eagerness to learn, explore, and reinvent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive presentations
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting research and media reports to guide social media strategies
- An eye for award-winning opportunities that satisfy clients' business objectives
- Confidence in ability to solve problems and come with solutions versus questions, strong accountability
