CENTRA is looking for experienced policy development analysts to support DHS's Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans as it implements processes, develops strategies, and provides program management support for activities related to the Uyghur Force Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force (FLETF).
Position responsibilities focus on direct support to the FLETF and implementation of the UFLPA, including stakeholder coordination; meeting facilitation, administration, and documentation; process optimization; and policy and strategy development. The ability to write clearly and succinctly in the service of senior U.S. government policymakers will be paramount, especially in the timely production of briefing memoranda. The position will require analysts with strong collaborative drive and background in interagency policy development and processes, with further background in international trade, strategic communications, issues relating to mistreatment of ethnic/religious minorities, or regulatory enforcement preferred.

Strong candidates should also possess a combination of the following:
- Experience in interagency policy processes in a Federal Civilian, DOD, or Intelligence Community environment.
- Familiarity with the missions and structure of DHS, particularly U.S. Customs and Border Protection or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
- Expertise or strong academic background on China and U.S.-China relations, trade, and/or customs enforcement.
- Experience or background in working with Congress and producing Congressional reports, along with the ability to understand legislative and statutory authorities.
- Strong writing skills, particularly experience producing briefing memos, leadership talking points, and recommendation papers.
- Strong interpersonal collaboration skills and ability to operate in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Strong proficiency/expertise in production of high-quality reports, leveraging data visualization tools and analysis.
- Strong proficiency with SharePoint and other file management and information sharing systems/tools.
Required/Preferred:
- Bachelor's or higher degree.
- 8 years minimum with a BA or BS/ 5 years minimum with higher degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products.
- TS/SCI with current DHS Suitability or eligibility to obtain DHS Suitability.
