Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com Operator - Assembler I Position summary The Operator Assembler I will be responsible for operating and tending manufacturing machines, per prescribed work instructions, to create parts or products. This position is also responsible for quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and moving of product Shifts Available: 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm Mon-Fri Responsibilities Operator - Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specifications Operate hand equipment and tools used in the assembly process Ensure quality products are being produced by following work instructions and inspecting parts Read and understand Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's) Ability to use measuring equipment (gauge pins, calipers, tape measure) Maintaining daily production rates Communicate issues with equipment, material, or processes Perform assembly and secondary operations Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly Participate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S) Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Operator - Assembler I Requirements Knowledge of basic math concepts Dexterity and hand and eye coordination Ability to use a microscope and operate hand tools Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Ope rator - Assembler I Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience in a cleanroom environment 1 year of manufactoring experience Ability to read and understand blueprints Qualifications What is it like to work at Cretex Medical?
