About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership for its Motors & Drives division. This role is pivotal in overseeing a large global team and multiple manufacturing sites, with a focus on driving profitable growth, optimizing working capital, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will be a key business partner to the Division SVP/GM, offering financial insights to support decision-making at all levels. Key responsibilities include full financial ownership, monthly and annual financial processes, and leading the financial aspects of division projects. The VP of Finance will also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, embracing technology, and leading the finance team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' relevant experience. A background in a manufacturing environment with multi-site responsibility is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate across functions, and a proven track record of driving strategic financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be adept at both high-level strategic thinking and detailed transactional analysis, and will be committed to coaching and mentoring their team. Experience with ERP systems is necessary, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
