About the Role

The Company is seeking a hands-on VP, Finance to join their team and partner with the CEO in leading the growth and transformation of the business. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for the finance and accounting function in a custom manufacturing and installation services business, and will be expected to have a strategic partnership with the CEO, managing risk management and treasury. This role requires an in-the-trenches leadership style, with a focus on implementing best practices and operational efficiency programs to maintain the company's leadership status in its sector. The VP, Finance will also be involved in construction, project costing and contracts, and must be willing to work as a player/coach with a lean team, fulfilling all aspects of the finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate for the VP, Finance role at the company will have a background in construction, project costing, and contracts, with a strong understanding of operations. Experience in managing cash, working capital, and reporting on costing in a complex costing environment is essential.
