Essential Functions

• In collaboration with supervising physician, perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Make recommendations for appropriate patient treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
• Collaborate with the Infusion nurses and staff in the care and treatment of patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive care.
• Assist supervising physicians with related duties as directed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current New York State NP and RN licenses.
• One to two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Oncology nurse (OCN) experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Chinese required (Mandarin or Cantonese).
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
