Essential Functions
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacologic management for patient with mental health disorders
- Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed
- Provide crisis interventions for patient or family as needed
- Collaborate care with psychotherapist on cases requiring behavioral treatment
- Coordinate care with family, community organizations or other agencies as needed
- Document evaluations, psychopharmacologic, and individual/family therapy interventions timely at EMR system
- Participate in network activities such as team meetings, provider meetings, grand rounds, and training sessions
- Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 2+ years of experience preferred but all welcome.
- Current and unrestricted New York State license and DEA number.
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
