While working for a defense program in Wichita, KS, perform composite fabrication and development for military aircraft, such as stealth bombers and fighter jets Complete composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting Utilize various composite fabrication techniques, autoclave, and bagging materials to complete production Inspect components, performing rework when necessary Other duties may be assigned Requirements: Active Secret Clearance Tools are NOT required Pay: $45/hr Per Diem is available Work Schedule: Must be open to 1 st or 2 nd Shift Must be open to OT, including some mandatory Saturdays – some current contractors (not all) are working 5x12 Mon-Fri and then 6-8 hours on Saturdays This amount of OT is not guaranteed, but you have to be open to it Placement: 12-18 month Contract, with strong potential for extension We have current contractors that have been out there over 2 years at this point There will be opportunities to go direct if you’re interested, normally around the 6-month mark About Aerotek: We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
