Salary:$55,000k to 75,000k

JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as the main point of contact and building strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account management, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the main point of contact for all account-related matters.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as sales, marketing, and product development) to develop strategies and solutions that meet clients' needs and drive business growth.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
  • Monitor account performance and KPIs, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services and resolution of any client issues or concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential opportunities or threats to client accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events as needed to strengthen relationships and promote company offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and communications in CRM systems or other relevant databases.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in account management or sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate.
  • Ability to understand clients' business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
  • Industry-specific knowledge and experience may be required depending on the nature of the role (e.g., experience in software sales for a tech company).
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
