Job Title: Electronics Manufacturing Technician Job Description Support the manufacturing of electronic components in a lean manufacturing, high-compliance environment. Perform tasks such as using a torque screwdriver, arbor press, and microscope to handle small components, and perform work in a laminar flow hood. This position may also involve operating a basic test system to gather pass/fail information from assemblies. Work will be conducted in an ESD-sensitive and ITAR-compliant work area. Responsibilities Use a torque screwdriver to fasten components into place. Use an arbor press to press pins into place on an assembly. Work under a microscope to place and adjust small components. Use tweezers to pick up, place, and manipulate small components. Perform work in a laminar flow hood. Operate a basic test system to gather pass/fail information from assemblies. Essential Skills Ability to use a microscope and inspect small electronic components. Basic computer skills, including the ability to read and write English, use email, and understand basic machine commands and functions. Proven attendance and reliability through a good work history or references. ITAR Compliant documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Machine operation or cleanroom experience is a plus. Work Environment This is an electronics manufacturing facility operating in a class 10,000 cleanroom. The dress code includes a light lab coat/smock, a hair net, and a face mask. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, swing shift from 7pm to 5:30am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.
