Position Overview:

The Branch Unit Manager will oversee all aspects of branch operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business growth. This role requires a strategic leader with strong business acumen, excellent managerial skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in inspection solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Branch Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the branch, including equipment rental, sales, repair, training, and calibration services.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of equipment and tools for customer needs.
  2. Business Development:
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand market presence within the region.
    • Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key clients, and negotiate contracts.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, including technicians, sales representatives, and support staff.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the branch budget, including forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting.
    • Analyze financial performance and implement measures to achieve profitability goals.
    • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and collection processes.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain the highest standards of quality in all branch operations, including equipment maintenance and service delivery.
    • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, experience within the inspection, NDT, or industrial services industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of mentoring a team and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management; forecasting and budgeting including the knowledge to apply profit and loss.
  • Foundational understanding of business operations to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in using business management software and tools.
