Summary

Strategic Account Executive (SAE) of HealthDyne is responsible for overall service of assigned accounts and coordination of internal departments to provide our clients full services including Central Fill, Mail Order, Clinical Support, Member Services, claims and other related services. This role is expected to perform at a more strategic level of thinking in support of VP Client Services, and maintain relationships with larger and more advanced clients. The SAE will support externally facing communications directly with clients specific to the administration and service of their programs. Service includes new program set up and implementation, maintaining strong customer relations through proactive contact, plan management including plan utilization analytical reviews/service reviews, measurement of performance guarantees and other key operating metrics, and timely and accurate responses to customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitator/leadership role in the development and closing of new business through existing and new business partners
  • Oversight of client's HealthDyne program implementations including facilitating meetings with internal departments
  • Provides utilization and service reviews for designated accounts on a scheduled basis including use of plan management and reporting tools both internally and externally
  • Facilitates the creation/review of business model rules with internal departments
  • Facilitates interdepartmental relations and communication as it specifically relates to HealthDyne accounts including finance, IT, clinical, and other departments as needed, to establish an understanding of client needs for implementation and ongoing services
  • Produces objective reporting to the CS Director regarding plan issues, opportunities, and overall customer standing
  • Communicate technical information in a meaningful, accurate, and articulate way to both the plan sponsor and its members
  • Participates in ongoing industry and product knowledge including OPS pricing, national and Pharmacy trends/benchmarks, pharmacology, Medicare and Medicaid, company product offerings, capabilities and limitations
  • Guides other Client Services staff specific to HealthDyne programs when needed
  • High-level contact with client representative(s) including oversight of ongoing uptake strategy for account and member pull through where applicable, involvement in escalated issues and responsible for follow-through to a satisfactory and timely resolution
  • Able to provide analysis of workflow processes and efficiency with other department teams
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist, previous Pharmacy Technician, or experience in pharmacy operations
  • Minimum of five years' experience in customer and/or client services
  • Ongoing industry education, continuous product knowledge development in the areas of healthcare and Pharmacy Services, pharmacology, company-specific product offerings, 340B pricing components, and company capabilities and limitations

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of people in a manner which illustrates superior professionalism including speaking in front of groups of people
  • Ability to assess, address and provide services to meet client needs
  • Ability to prepare for, lead and direct meetings both internal and external of various sizes. Directing includes keeping meetings on track, providing follow-up/meeting minutes, etc.
  • Relationship-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, peers, other department staff, and management
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to a successful conclusion, including measurement of milestones and alerting project participants to outliers and project status at any time
  • Project planning skills: must have the ability to use logical methods to address problems and develop solutions ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Analytical skills including applied arithmetic and algebra, relation of financial figures and inter-relation to medication utilization, and basic pharmacology
  • Ability to provide sequential analysis of workflow and efficiency in operational procedures
  • Must have expert level knowledge of all desktop computer applications such as MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader/ Writer
  • Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Project
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of situations
  • Ability to multitask and possess excellent time management skills
  • Ability to direct and delegate to support staff as needed
  • May be required to stand for long periods at trade shows, benefit fairs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Up to 25% travel may be required.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. Travel up to 25% of time.
