Position Summary

Under the direction of the VP of Total Care Services, this role provides leadership and oversight for project execution including project scoping, resource management, schedule development, people/parts management, schedule updates, and overall project communication with stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful execution of assigned project to the scope, schedule and budget requirements.
  • Provide the leadership and direction to the project team and interfacing with the Managers.
  • Ensure all aspects of Department policies and procedures as they relate to assigned project.
  • Review or assist in the development of Project Execution plans and subsequent procedures and approval thereof.
  • Develop project schedules with resources assigned to project
  • Assist in development of project strategies involving contract and risk mitigation issues.
  • Review and critique major weekly reports.
  • Lead project and contractor meetings.
  • Secure resources to manage and support the project.
  • Assure that appropriate project controls are in place to effectively manage the project.
  • Participate in negotiation and approval of major services, equipment and construction contracts.
  • Monitor of Project status and trends and expediting critical project requirements.
  • Report project status and issues to senior management.
  • Actively participate in internal Project Reviews.
  • Ensure PES EH&S program is adhered to across all facets of work ensuring corrective actions for any deficiencies are taken immediately.
  • Stay abreast of, and provide proactive solutions for potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, employee issues and/or client issues.


Required Qualifications
  • Previous full responsibility for project profit and loss (P & L) management
  • 3+ years' experience in project management.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc.).
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check


Additional Functions
  • Proficient in the use of various MS Office programs, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in the use of a variety of general office equipment and skilled at typing at a speed necessary for successful job performance.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem solving, cost estimating/control, as well as schedule attainment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with all levels internal to the organization as well as externally to key customer contacts.
  • Knowledge of communication principles and practices.
  • Knowledge and correct usage of English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Knowledge of principles of business letter writing and report preparation.
  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form where only limited data may exist.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, reach and manipulate objects.
  • The position requires mobility.
  • Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Usual office working conditions: noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
