An iconic family-owned company with a strong community brand seeks a talented Director of Human Resources. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and make your mark on developing a dynamic human resources department supporting our multi-state facilities. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with our company's goals while ensuring compliance with varying state regulations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR initiatives across multiple state locations
  • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state-specific employment laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with facility managers to address location-specific HR needs and challenges
  • Implement and maintain consistent HR policies and procedures across all locations
  • Oversee benefits administration and compensation programs
  • Conduct regular site visits to maintain strong relationships with local management and employees
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Provide guidance and support to HR representative

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-state operations
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Report to our facility in York, PA 3-4 days a week and Hanover, PA 1-2 days on average
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Virginia and Florida locations as needed
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is beneficial
  • Vista Viewpoint and ApplicantPro experience a plus
