The Dog Stop® is quickly evolving its network of dog care facilities and is looking for an experienced Marketing leader with their finger on the pulse of current marketing technologies, trends, and applications to lead our Marketing team and develop and implement strategies to strengthen our market presence, Brand Voice, and Customer Experience.

What You'll Do:
- Primarily accountable for reflecting the brand ambition/positioning/architecture in all elements of communication/marketing programs across all web, social, digital, print, and other channels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and future business and service offerings.
- Manage the customer experience and develop and implement strategies to engage with and support our customers at each phase of the customer journey.
- Oversee, manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing Marketing department to scale with our network of stores and our evolving graphic design, branding, and grassroots and digital marketing needs.
- Identify and execute revenue opportunities among established customers as well as through new customer acquisition.
- Develop, manage, and exercise financial responsibility for the national and local brand marketing/advertising budget, overseeing the planning and execution of the national marketing budget, and providing strategic direction for local marketing spend.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the Marketing team.
- Create, manage, and determine ROI of an annual roadmap of partnerships, events, and initiatives designed to drive incremental revenue and brand awareness on a national and local level for our network of stores.
- Manage the conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer acquisition and sales.
- Direct PR and social media engagement across corporate, franchise, and multi-channel, to harness the power of the PR and social communities (e.g., analyzing what people are saying, reviewing, etc.) to gain insights, and connect with customers, and critics.
- Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and ongoing management.
- Develop and oversee the national marketing calendar, including annual core pillars, key new product initiatives, system-wide promotions, and programs to increase sales.
- Serve as the expert on actionable consumer insights and the development of customer-facing strategies and tactical plans that drive sales and customer acquisition.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- 10+ years of brand marketing experience in a senior level role, with a proven track record of results-driven national/local/field/ brand awareness and growth
- Bachelor's degree (or a combination of education and relevant industry experience) in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Strong working knowledge of sales and marketing strategies
- Deep HubSpot, SEM/SEO digital marketing, Meta Business Suite, GMB expertise, and email and SMS marketing campaigns
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Canva Adobe, Hootsuite (or similar), CRM systems, PowerBI or Tableau.
- Proven ability to develop and manage organizational financials, including budgets, P&Ls, and ROI analyses
- Established roster of PR and media contacts
- Ability to travel occasionally throughout the year to events/stores
