Job Title: Director, Salesforce [open to varying levels of seniority]
Slalom is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial CRM technology leader to drive the growth of Slalom's Salesforce capabilities within our greater TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana & Arkansas). This person will provide thought leadership to our clients, support with business development efforts, help set the strategic direction for the Salesforce team, and steward Slalom's core values, demonstrating a daily growth mindset and passion for people.
Location:This role will be expected to primarily be in person with clients and in our Slalom office in the city where you're located (Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston or Austin). The preference would be for this role to sit in Dallas Fort Worth, though we're open to someone located in Houston or Austin. The role will require very occasional travel between these locations.
What You'll Do
1) Drive Growth
• Drive overall account growth through business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work & thought leadership.
• Own direct revenue responsibility of $5M+
• Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Salesforce offerings.
• Build and develop relationships with Salesforce and own joint sales pursuits.
• Drive business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering.
• Maintain awareness of industry leading practices and business levers for cloud offerings and understand how Slalom practice areas interact.
2) Engagement Management
• Manage engagement risk, project economics including: planning and budgeting, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in from clients
• Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Salesforce projects.
• Oversee quality assurance of project delivery.
3) Team & Individual Development
• Maximize team performance through a People-first approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction
• Assign practice area development tasks when Consultants are between projects
• Develop and deliver leading practices, delivery templates, and point-of-view papers. Create reusable collateral for sales and delivery accelerators.
What You'll Bring (Preferred Qualifications)
• Strong business development skills with a proven track record of managing complex sales pursuits
• Experience growing enterprise-scale client relationships
• Propose and lead cross-functional engagements consisting of teams with various technical & non-technical capabilities
• Functional understanding of Salesforce with prior experience architecting or designing solutions
• Expert at project delivery who can perform all aspects of program management and articulate a mature delivery methodology to clients and team members
