Mission Support Division Lead
Position Description :
As a member of the team, you will support CBP's mission by facilitating the acquisition of a mix of services, infrastructure and technology solutions. This is achieved by focusing on acquisition governance, oversight, support, and procurement as well as providing services (program management, financial management and procurement) across all CBP.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Mission Support Division Lead is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, communications, data analysis, strategic planning, program management, and engineering support to the DHS CBP Office of Acquisition. This role involves strong managerial oversight to ensure effective organization, planning, and execution of tasks by contractor staff. The Mission Support Division Lead will assist the CSS Program Manager with leadership, guidance, and program management vision while consulting with senior leadership to support daily operations within the Mission Support Division.

- Administrative and Program Support:
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the Mission Support Division.
- Oversee communications, data analysis, strategic planning, and engineering support activities.
- Leadership and Management:
- Demonstrate strong managerial experience in organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff.
- Assist the CSS Program Manager in delivering team leadership, guidance, and program management vision.
- Consultation and Strategic Planning:
- Consult with senior leadership as needed to support day-to-day operations and strategic planning efforts within the Mission Support Division.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Program and Project Management:
- Oversee program management functions, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and initiatives.
- Ensure tasks and projects are completed accurately and timely.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years (7) of relevant experience in administrative support, program management, and engineering.
- Proven track record of effective team management and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience can be utilized in lieu of a degree.
