Overview:
Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and manage all aspects of our HR department. This pivotal role reports directly to the President & COO and serves as a member of the Operations Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and expertise to assume full departmental responsibilities from day one and will be instrumental in developing the overall structure of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Development:
- Supervise, train, coordinate, and develop HR staff
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to junior HR team members
- Play a pivotal role in departmental development and structuring
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Recruit intermediate-level staff
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires
- Data Management and Payroll:
- Ensure employee data is accurate and up-to-date
- Manage and coordinate payroll operations
- Performance and Development:
- Lead the annual performance review process
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure HR compliance with all company policies and relevant legislation, including SHE legislation, labor law, and tax law
Requirements
• Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably as an HR Director or Manager
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of success in all HR disciplines
• Skills and Abilities:
- Certified proficiency with major payroll software packages
- Expert computer literacy
- Excellent coordination and time management skills
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of SHE legislation, labor law, tax law, and other relevant legislation
• Location Requirement:
- Candidates should reside within a commutable distance to our Houston location.
