The Life Extension 2 (LE2) team is an organization within the greater FBM program which supports the development of the Next Generation System by developing concepts, researching, and maturing technologies to support the development of the next FBM Missile System.Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile.As the Strategic Weapon Systems (SWS) Integration Manager, you will: • Manage and direct FBM SWS Integration and Integration personnel for the support of SWS integration activities at the flight system level. • Manage and maintain the relationships between systems engineers on your team supporting Missile and internal/external Navy customers supporting other SWS subsystems (Guidance, Fire Control, Reentry, Launcher, Navigation, etc.)• Be a main point of contain for coordination of technical information into and out of Lockheed Martin for Navy customers and other contractors• Support interface definition/creation between SWS subsystems. Identify giver/receiver relationships between major SWS elements. To support Systems Integration efforts. Provide input to SWS planning artifacts (SWS Integrated Master Plan, SWS Integrated Master Schedule, SWS Program Plan, etc) • Represent Lockheed Martin at Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) events and reviews, building customer relationships • Be responsible for providing local functional oversight to engineers within technical discipline. • Evaluate integration personnel for performance reviews/management, promotions, merits, and career development.• Provide solution based technical mentoring to improve program performance and to drive error free integration through the use of proven tools, processes and predictive measures. • Work collaboratively with the program and functional senior leadership to manage staffing requirements and plan job assignments / rotations to sustain engineering capabilities and critical skills. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
