Dartmouth Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Neuromuscular Medicine Neurologist to join our growing team in the Department of Neurology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert care for patients with a range of neuromuscular disorders, contribute to education and training, and participate in cutting-edge research. The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to clinical excellence, a passion for teaching, and an interest in advancing the field of neuromuscular medicine.Overview:
  • Mostly outpatient with some inpatient rotations
  • 60 minutes for new appointments; 30 minutes for follow-ups
  • Low call requirements - 14-16 nights per year
  • EMG techs to help support providers
  • Collaboration with neurosurgery, psychiatry, social work, nursing, radiology, and primary care
  • 8 hours of administrative time each week
  • Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
Requirements:
  • BE/BC in Neurology with Neuromuscular Medicine subspecialty certification issued by the AMBS or AOA
  • Ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license
