NP or PA - Endocrinology

Top private medical group in Manhattan seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Client seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team.

Job Function

• Diagnosing and treating a variety of endocrine conditions, such as diabetes mellitus (Type 1 and Type 2), thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and pituitary disorders.
• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, emphasizing disease management, prevention of complications, and promotion of overall health and well-being.
• Prescribing medications, including insulin and hormone replacement therapies, and monitoring their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families about endocrine disorders, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques.
• Performing procedures such as thyroid biopsies and diabetes management counseling.
• Collaborating with endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests related to endocrine health.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Endocrinology as a NP/PA
• Active New York License
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
