Join us in creating a cleaner tomorrow, today.Summary:Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) will oversee the portfolio of Powin’s Strategic Initiatives, change programs, and cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring that programs and projects align with the company’s strategic vision and objectives. This role is responsible for establishing, leading, and managing the PMO, setting standards for program management, and providing guidance to program managers. The Director will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective project execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.Responsibilities:PMO Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement the PMO strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives. Establish and maintain PMO governance, policies, and procedures. Define and manage the PMO’s portfolio of projects, programs, and initiatives.Portfolio & Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements. Implement and standardize project management methodologies, tools, and templates. Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, providing regular updates to senior leadership.Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects, ensuring that resources are used effectively to meet project objectives. Collaborate with department heads to manage resource requirements and resolve resource conflicts. Provide strategic input on resource planning and forecasting to support the organization’s growth and project demands.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and decision-making.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular project reviews, risk assessments, and change management processes.Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Analyze project outcomes and lessons learned to drive future project success. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the PMO.Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of program and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Continuously optimize team structure and growth potential.Performs other duties as assignedManagerial Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, communication, and innovationContribute to strategic planning by aligning team efforts with organizational objectivesSet performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct performance appraisals and hold regular 1:1 meetings to provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities for continuous growthParticipate in ongoing company management training to stay current with best practices and organizational goalsManage team workload and resources effectively, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and information and promote employee engagement through recognition and supportPromote collaborative efforts and efficient execution and address and resolve conflicts promptly, maintain a positive and inclusive team culture, and ensure adherence to company policiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience8+ years of program management experience or related work, with experience in engineering or technical fields preferred5+ years leadership role with demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with significant experience leading cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with corporate data, operations, and business intelligence systems (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Oracle, NetSuite, Arena, PowerBI)Proven experience managing large, complex projects and programs across multiple departments or functionsExcellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and best practicesExceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detailProficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) Preferred Qualifications:PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is highly desirablePhysical Requirements: Occasional travel may be requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyPowin is not accepting resumes from unsolicited headhunters or agencies at this time.EEO STATEMENT:The Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws. The national Average Base Salary Range is $164,000-$232,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
