Since partnering with Crete United, RELCO has experienced significant growth and is seeking a President to help lead the company through its next chapter. Position Summary

The President is responsible for running day-to-day business operations and will directly lead the service department performing Commercial and Industrial Electrical, Automation, and Fire Safety services throughout the New England based in South Easton, MA. In addition, the President has full P&L ownership and is accountable for achieving budgeted sales and profit goals.

The President oversees all aspects of the business (field, project management, estimation, purchasing and safety) and is responsible for running day-to-day business operations. He or She will directly lead the service department performing Commercial and Industrial Electrical, Automation, and Fire Safety services throughout the New England area based in South Easton, MA. In addition, the President has full P&L ownership and is accountable for achieving budgeted sales and profit goals. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and significant operational experience in the commercial electrical contracting industry. The President will have regular interaction with the Crete United Regional Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve budget goals for your department.
• Manage all aspects of operations (field, estimating, project management, purchasing, safety, etc.).
• Optimize project profitability and execution (estimation, pricing, contracting, scheduling, tracking, reforecasting, material cost controls, and labor productivity).
• Build a strong safety culture to minimize the potential for injuries on our job sites and at our facilities.
• Develop and implement plan to be the employer of choice in the region and increase the size of our field workforce.
• Build a high performing team and set clear goals for your direct reports.
• Train and develop the managers, staff and electricians in your department.

  • Work with the business development team to develop new client relationships and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Work with the Ops and Service Teams and the CFO in the development of budgets, monitor and track the financial performance of your department, and participate in monthly financial and operations reviews.
  • Build long-term business relationships with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and partner companies within the Crete portfolio.


Position Requirements
• Strong leader with a track-record of leading teams to achieve results.
• Desire to play a key leadership role during a period of transition and rapid growth at our company.
• 10+ years operations leadership experience in the commercial MEP contracting space preferably with experience in the electrical contracting industry.
• Experience managing $5m+ projects
• Technical knowledge gained through experience as an electrician, estimator, project manager, engineer, or operations manager.
• Previous experience leading teams of 50 or more people
• Previous experience in a P&L responsible role
• Design build capability is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Work, Excel, etc.).
