We are looking for an Associate Director, Social Media Analytics to join our team of award-winning social media experts. This role will be part of our Strategy team. It is for the data-driven, detail-obsessed thinker who can translate data into actionable insights and see compelling stories in the numbers. You'll apply these findings to shape client strategy, inform content development and drive business growth. You will connect social media conversations, content and performance to brand goals, marketing objectives and sales. You'll help clients understand how their social presence resonates within culture and with their fandoms.

We are looking for an Associate Director, Social Media Analytics to join our team of award-winning social media experts. This role will be part of our Strategy team. You will connect social media conversations, content and performance to brand goals, marketing objectives and sales. - Define and clearly articulate social measurement methodologies and point of view specific to each social platform and holistic reporting objectives.
- Establish your expert perspective on social metrics and benchmarks that matter most to guide internal cross-discipline teams and clients.
- Own the development, execution and presentation of advanced social media reporting and analytics frameworks that measure impact and fuel strategic decision-making.
- Track and analyze performance metrics across multiple social platforms to inform both real-time optimization and long-term social media strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams, including partners in Strategy, Content, Care & Engagement and Client Success to deliver meaningful data insights that elevate social strategy and content.
- Stay ahead of social intelligence trends, social commerce, emerging tools, platform updates and social best practices to ensure our analytics approach remains cutting-edge.
- Present, explain and visualize complex data in a clear, compelling way that resonates with internal teams and clients.
- This role is responsible for various social media analytics and reporting, including, but not limited to, product pre-launch social listening, social commerce analysis, social conversation themes and insights, social campaign performance, quarterly client business review, content performance, and channel health.
Competencies
- A deep passion for social media and an understanding of how it drives business value; deep expertise in interpreting and acting on social data is a must.
- Experience working with social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and their native analytics as well as third-party tools (Sprout, Sprnklr, Khoros, Meltwater, Tagger, etc.).
- Ability to take data from raw numbers to insightful stories, making connections between audience behavior, content performance, and clients' business goals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills-experience translating, presenting and clearly explaining data details to cross-discipline and client teams is essential.
- An innovative mindset focused on creating, iterating and evolving social reporting deliverables to ensure maximum impact for our clients' social media marketing.
- A collaborative spirit, with an eye for detail and a hunger for growth in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 8+ years of analytics and data insights experience with a specific focus on social media analytics and insights, including hands-on experience in tools like Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Google Analytics, Meltwater and native social platform insights (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or equivalent work experience related to the field.
- Proven track record of delivering social reporting to enable high-impact social media campaigns and always-on content that consistently exceeds performance goals and KPIs.
- Expertise in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting social media data to provide actionable insights that inform both creative and strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional ability to present complex data in a simple, compelling way-whether in reporting decks, data visualizations, visual dashboards, or live presentations.
- Experience with social reporting for a range of client audiences, from executive level to day-to-day social teams.
- Strong collaborator and relationship builder who works seamlessly with partners across disciplines and with client-facing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members who are contributing to social reporting, helping them understand and apply analytics for social media success.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive business information and client data.
- Proficiency in key data analysis tools (Excel, Sheets) as well as presentation programs like Keynote, Google Slides, PowerPoint, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
