SUMMARYThe Systems Administrator will work to maintain the security, integrity, and operation of the corporation's information systems and business applications. They will be responsible for completing complex tasks within the job function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
REGULATORY
Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Implement, and operate all software and systems aligned with their functional area.
- Assist with or develop, implement, and/or maintain all processes and policies for the functional area.
- Work is highly independent. Works on complex technical and business matters.
- Ensure the successful and continued operation of the company's enterprise systems and services.
- Participate in the management and deployment of the physical and virtual server environments.
- Participate in the management and configuration of enterprise systems and applications.
- Ensure that servers and applications are being backed up and adhering to data retention policies with respect to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Review and patch servers/systems as required by security policies and initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to systems outages as required.
- Respond to support calls in an on-call rotation.
- Work as a member of a project team to deliver new business systems.
- Work to towards standardizing methods and processes, while achieving a strong security posture across all properties
- Perform related duties as assigned.
REGULATORY

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 2-year degree in IT/IS or other closely related discipline; may consider experience and certifications for degree requirement.
- Experience with public cloud services and providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- 2 or more industry specific certifications such as MTA, MCSA or MCSE.
- Experience with Linux or other open-source operating systems.
- 3+ years working in a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment required.
- Experience with SSO federated or MFA platforms.
- Understanding of virtual networking concepts.
- Provisioning and maintaining servers in a virtual environment required.
- Enterprise server and workstation management products:
- Example: Microsoft SCCM, Tanium, etc.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft DHCP/DNS
- Advanced knowledge of O365 account administration or other enterprise mail systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams administration.
- Experience with application and data backup and recovery solutions.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regular use of a keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software.
- Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods.
- Ability to manipulate paperwork, including filing, sorting, and organizing.
- Moving within the office environment to attend meetings, use office equipment, or interact with colleagues.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies or paperwork (up to 20 pounds).
- Speaking and listening to colleagues and clients in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing.
- Working in a climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Performing repetitive tasks such as data entry or document preparation.
- Working under artificial lighting conditions typical of an office environment, which may include fluorescent or LED lighting.
