Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

MagMutual is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Manager to oversee our comprehensive digital marketing strategy. This role will focus on driving awareness, engagement, and adoption of our products among our target audiences, including prospects, customers and agent partners, across multiple channels, including website/SEO, email, paid search, social media, and more.

As an individual contributor, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in B2B marketing, strong data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute an integrated digital marketing strategy, encompassing inbound and outbound tactics across website/SEO, email, social media, paid media, display advertising, and traditional media outlets. Ensure all efforts align with broader sales and GTM initiatives.
  • Lead the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, focusing on audience segmentation, personalization, lifecycle automation, and compliance with email marketing best practices, working closely with content and creative teams. Ensure email campaigns complement other digital initiatives.
  • Create, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across search engines, social media, display networks, and additional digital channels. Conduct A/B tests on creative assets and landing pages maximize conversions and engagement rates.
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms (i.e. Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to manage customer journeys and nurture leads through personalized communication.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies for SEO, PPC, display, and paid social campaigns. Ensure that vendors align with campaign goals, performance KPIs, and budget requirements, and facilitate regular updates to stay on track.
  • In partnership with marketing operations, analyze campaign performance across channels, utilizing data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and inform future strategies. Present campaign results and recommendations to leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with content, creative, and product marketing teams and partner with other departments (e.g., sales, risk advice, and claims) to ensure cohesive and effective digital campaigns that align with go-to-market strategies and business objectives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive media plans, negotiate contracts with media outlets, and allocate media spending across campaigns for optimal ROI. Continually monitor and optimize ad spend to ensure it aligns with budget goals and delivers the highest return.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging digital marketing technologies, and competitive landscape shifts to keep the brand innovative and competitive. Identify and propose new digital tools or channels that could enhance campaign effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Certifications in relevant digital marketing areas are highly desirable.
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, including strategic email marketing, preferably within the B2B insurance or financial services space.
  • Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid search, social media, email, and display advertising.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Expertise with email & SMS marketing best practices, and audience segmentation.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting marketing data to guide decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience managing vendors and paid media budgets.
  • Experience in managing both B2B and direct-to-consumer digital marketing campaigns preferred
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and tools preferred.
  • Background in industries such as insurance, financial services, or technology preferred.
