Electrical Assembler

Job Title: Electrical Assembler Location: Ocala, Florida (On-site) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (4-month duration) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various other electrical components. You will work closely with engineering specifications to program lights and troubleshoot electrical circuits, including 12V DC and 110V AC systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing functionality checks on a range of equipment, such as airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, and door locks, ensuring all products meet required specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and other electrical components. Program lights and troubleshoot electrical circuits per engineering specifications. Test products to ensure they meet functional and quality standards. Read and interpret engineering specifications and blueprints. Perform functionality checks on electrical systems such as airhorns, sirens, light packages, and door locks. Identify and resolve any quality issues or malfunctions in the products. Follow shop orders and ensure all products are built to spec. Hard Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding schematics. In-depth knowledge of 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications. Experience with a variety of electrical components. Skilled in using a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. Ability to follow shop orders and production processes accurately. Soft Skills: Strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Team player with a willingness to collaborate and assist others. Open-minded and eager to learn new skills and technologies. Excellent attendance and punctuality. Work Environment: This role is based in an open-air manufacturing facility, which can be hot during the summer months and cold in winter.
