About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Administration and Finance to serve as its chief business and financial officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial health of the institution, providing leadership in the development and implementation of sound operational policies, and managing effective business operations. This includes overseeing all business office functions, monitoring budget expenditures, and ensuring the integrity of both internal and external audits. The role also involves advising on the physical plant of the University, maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and initiating efforts to strengthen the institution's administrative and fiscal acumen. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field, with a preference for a Certified Public Accountant, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting, finance, and administration, particularly in the context of higher education. The role requires a leader with impeccable soft skills, a strong background in investments, and a proven track record in management and team building. The Vice President will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of facilities management, proficiency in contemporary information technology, and a commitment to the mission of the University. Responsibilities also include strategic leadership in IT operations, facilities and risk management, and campus safety and security. The position demands a candidate who can work closely with the President and other cabinet members, and who is adept at conferring with legislative auditors and securing funding from various sources.
