Overview

As a Sales Coordinator, you will be a key factor to success in ensuring our guests receive both accurate expectations about Flyover as well as a memorable impression of our experience. Working closely with the Pursuit Revenue teams and the Flyover Las Vegas Revenue & Operations team, the ’s primary responsibility is to support the success of the overall operation by supporting the planning, development and execution of group reservations, sales and marketing initiatives to build consumer engagement, driving guest visitation, and growing ancillary revenue streams.

This position requires strong communication, organizational and cross-functional skills, attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving to be successful in the role. The Sales Coordinator role also requires an understanding of sales, customer service, and some marketing along with a flair for hosting groups, in-market media, leading & assisting with the production of sales & marketing assets including on-site signage, sales tools and creative projects. By representing a popular attraction in Las Vegas, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for creating a cohesive, fluid environment for fellow team members and guests alike. The Sales Coordinator should always strive to represent both Flyover and Las Vegas with a positive attitude.  This role provides a great opportunity to be a self-starter who is ready to take on a fun challenge and be a part of a wonderful team. 

What is the compensation for this role?

The wage for this role is 50k/Exempt and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

What will you do in this job?
  • Support the execution of sales & marketing campaigns, group sales, events, media relations, and on-site promotions 
  • Handling phone calls and emails about group reservations and events in a welcoming and positive manner
  • Assist with and completing other administrative tasks as needed, including reporting, tracking, group/event notification, using Pursuit Collection’s CRM, and others. 
  • Confirming group reservations details, coordinating vendors, making changes and answering any questions from clients while providing impeccable guest service  
  • Support the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Sales in the development and optimization of Flyover Las Vegas’s regional partner relationships and contracts  
  • Track and assist with distribution of affiliate and partner commissions
  • Generate ideas that support the growth of seasonal features, events and ancillary revenue stream initiatives 
  • Assist in overseeing the planning, management and execution of media itineraries, FAM trips, influencer campaigns, and broadcast productions. This includes hosting in-market media, bloggers and influencers as required. 
  • Responsible for compiling performance reports and working with the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Sales to turn data into actionable insights, e.g. how we can improve campaigns based on past performance. 
  • Assist and possibly lead the production of marketing assets such as on-site signage, sales tools and small creative projects such as sales collateral, print/digital advertisements, eblasts and website updates, etc. 
  • Ensure digital and social platforms are supporting core business objectives and promotional activities. 
  • Update minor onsite signage requests in Canva and InDesign.
  • Represent the local Revenue team at meetings as required
  • Help manage the storage of sales & marketing assets including images, electronic files, and creative archive library within our digital asset management systems. 
  • Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the attraction, pay close attention to detail and instill the same in the team.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing, sales or communications role. Preferably in hospitality, restaurants, theatres, hotels, theme parks or resort environments. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, sales, public relations, or journalism preferred. 
  • Ability to work independently with the support of the larger revenue team, to execute strategies as well as administrative tasks. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential including inter-department collaboration, relationship management and conflict management. 
  • Experience leading projects from conception to implementation and evaluation. 
  • Proficiency in computer skills required, including MS Office, Adobe CS suite, digital marketing, SharePoint and Asana 
  • Resourceful, adaptable, resilient, and having a strong sense of self-awareness. 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to build & foster strong professional relationships required within the Flyover Las Vegas and Pursuit teams.  
  • Comfortable with speaking in front of groups in engaging ways.
  • This role may require occasional travel.  Valid State issued driver’s license is required.
