TRAVEL Welder/ Fitter $150 per diem- Hollywood, SC Job Description As a Fitter, you will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. You will interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process and inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness. This role relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions and typically does not require independent judgment. Responsibilities Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process. Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness. Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Essential Skills Blueprint reading Measurement experience Converting fractions to decimals Fabrication Welding Mig welder Pulse mig Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-5+ years of fitting experience minimum Ability to read blueprints Experience in structural fitting Fitting various structures and components for National Defense equipment Combo welding/fitting Why Work Here?
