Emergency Medicine Physician

SPECIALTY: CRITICAL CARE INTENSIVIST TYPE: PERMANENT LOCATION: METRO FRESNO, CA JOB: 42618 DESCRIPTION: * 14 shifts per month * Will consider part time coverage * 12 hour shifts 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM * Will be flexible on scheduling block shifts * Local providers may be able to pick up single sporadic shifts * 22 bed ICU * Average census is 11 beds full * Procedures: Intubations, vent management, central and arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis * Will do admissions * Adults only * Will remain on-site for entire shift Sleep room available * Solo intensivist coverage * Night shifts may involve Tele-ICU coverage for sister hospitals * Physicians are considered partners * Directorship path is available and encouraged REQUIRED: * CA medical license in good standing or available to obtain * ACLS * BC/BE Critical Care with 5 years.
