Emergency Medicine Physician

SPECIALTY: Emergency Medicine LOCATION: Polson, MT JOB TYPE: Locum Tenens JOB NUMBER: 41514 Details: I am looking for a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to provide locums coverage in Polson, MT. Sporadic coverage needs starting in January with 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM). NRP certification is required. Current open shifts include 1/1 & 1/2 (Day Shift), 1/4 & 1/5 (Night Shift), 1/15-1/17 (Night Shift), and 1/31 (Night Shift). There will be more ongoing shifts. The facility has an annual volume of 6,000, with 75% adult and 25% pediatric patients, averaging 12-15 patients per day. It is a Trauma Level IV facility with 6 beds, including 2 ICU beds. Physicians will respond to house codes, while hospitalists handle admissions. The team includes 4 physicians (1 EM, 2 FP, 1 PA). Privileges can be granted within 30-60 days.
