Gastroenterology Physician

Coverage Needed * December 20, 2024 - ongoing Schedule * 24 hour call for 2 locations: 7am - 7am * Exact Dates: * Dec 20 (7a) - 27 (7a) * Jan 3 (7a) - 9 (7a) * Jan 17 (7a) - 21 (7a) * Jan 31 (7a) - Feb 7 (7a) * Feb 14 (7a) - 21 (7a) * Mar 14 (7a) - 21 (7a) Clinical Details * Inpatient Trauma Level II * Average daily census of 15-25 patients * Some days will be under 10, some days > 30 * There is anesthesia support, no need for conscious sedation * Hospitalists admits patients * Average ER calls/consults in 24 hours: 10-12 * Average consults from admitted patients in 24 hours (Surgeons or hospitalists): 4-5 per day * Average transfers in over 7 days: 10-15 * Average daily procedures on inpatients: 5-8 * 1-2 ERCPs per day (of the 5-8 procedures above) Requirements * Board Certified Gastroenterology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in Internal Medicine) * Active CO License * Active CO DEA * Required Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP & General GI butter cases * Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred * required for urgent dates * Must be available for dates listed Call * The site has a designated "backup" physician should another call come in at the other facility while working a call at the other facility EMR * Epic
