Electrical Engineer

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to work on-site at our San Diego location. As an Electrical engineer you will be designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electrical power and data. You will determine the design approaches and parameters as well as analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
To be successful in this role, you will contribute electrical, optoelectrical, thermal and electromechanical knowledge to the design of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical device instruments, draw and analyze electrical schematics, and debug circuits, or assist in the debugging process, by soldering and de-soldering components, taking measurements, and/or writing or following test procedures. You will also assist in the design, execution and interpretation of complex experiments, and analyze requirements, identify concepts, architectural solutions, and system design to meet project needs.
You will also have 2-5+ years of electrical engineering experience and skilled in schematic design fundamentals (transistor circuit analysis, filter design, power supply design, etc.)
