Field Service Project Manager

TransCanada Turbines (TCT) is the sole authorized overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for Siemens Energy and General Electric (GE) aeroderivative industrial gas turbines, serving an expanding international client base.

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager - Field Service to join our Houston team. The Field Service Project Manager is Responsible for supporting TCT's Field Service activities.

Duties: The duties include but will not be limited to the following:
  • Asset data tracking for customers engines maintained by TCT (Hours, Starts, Maintenance and Service Bulletins, etc.).
  • Outage planning such as scheduling, parts & tooling provisioning, special requirements.
  • Manage all technician training competencies for manpower from all 3 U.S.
  • Branches (Includes ISNet, HeliPass, & 1st Advantage).
  • Attend, manage & follow-up for action items from quarterly and annual review meetings.
  • Data and slide deck preparation for annual meetings.
  • Working with TCT Projects and Engineering on engines that have been shipped to the depot for repairs.
  • Manage and track offshore critical parts inventory and component repairs including logistics to/from customers' site, provisioning replacements, follow up
  • with TCT Parts Sales and repair vendors.
  • Forecasting needs for upcoming outages and milestones.
  • Facilitate job closure for customer activities, compile job recap documents, request
  • PO revisions and Customer follow-up etc.
  • Collecting, editing, and submitting field/branch service reports and logs.
  • Share weekend on call support with FS branch Manager and TCT parts team for our customers.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience is required, a combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Ability to plan, develop, monitor, control & execute projects.
  • Solid technical & analytical skills
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excel and PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
