The Fire/Life Safety Service Agreement Sales Executive is key to supporting our Service Agreements within the commercial Smart Buildings Total Fire Alarm & Life Safety Service team. This role collaborates with our Operations team to deliver fire and life safety services and maintenance for large commercial sites, including hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities for the Fire/Life Safety Service Agreement Sales Executive:
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed new order and profit quotas by developing a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
  • Market Knowledge & Strategic Growth: Gain insight into customer needs, competitors, and market trends, creating a plan to grow within existing and new markets.
  • Consultative Selling & Relationship Building: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending solutions to improve building system performance. Attend industry events to expand networks and represent Siemens.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with operations, sales support, and estimators to ensure customer satisfaction and effective project delivery.
  • Pricing & Financial Consultation: Set pricing strategies based on value offered and guide customers on budgeting needs.
  • Focus on Customer Engagement: Dedicate at least 50% of time to in-person customer interactions and new business development.
  • Continuous Improvement & Travel: Participate in sales training to stay current, with ~10% overnight travel based on territory needs.


This role combines consultative selling and proactive outreach, ideal for a motivated candidate with a hunter mentality.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
  • 3+ years of experience with sales, account and business development, or consulting
  • On-the-job experience with: Selling service agreements to multiple levels of the customer's organization
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth through targeted business development strategies.
  • Estimating and selling technical solutions and servicing offerings effectively and independently
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 5 + Years of Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety or similar commercial building/construction industries.

  • The pay range for this position is $80,430 - $101,880 plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
