The Leidos team supporting the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations, and Environment (SAF/IE) has an opening for a Department of the Air Force (DAF) Installation Planning Program Analyst at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The position is primarily telework with periodic visits to the Pentagon.

This position entails facilitation and review of policy and real estate/real property activities associated with reducing infrastructure costs across the DAF installation enterprise, as well as staffing package review and programmatic support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations.

A DoD Secret security clearance is required for this position.

On-site meetings at The Pentagon will be requires 2-3 times a month.

The Challenge:
  • Support the identification, facilitation, and implementation of installation-level real estate opportunities that will result in reduction of DAF infrastructure or increased cost-sharing with DoD, US Government, and non-government entities
  • Develop and track metrics for success associated with DAF's infrastructure reduction cost initiatives
  • Develop, coordinate, consolidate, and maintain SAF/IE Installations Planning (SAF/IEIP) program governance and programmatic documents (e.g. Department of Air Force Instructions, policies, records, etc.) action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans
  • Prepare staff packages and products e.g. staff summary sheets, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, background papers, talking papers, and white papers, for Senior Executive Service, General Officer, or Presidential Appointee-level audiences
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, and other Service staff(s), SAF/HAF/SF directorates, Major Commands, and other government offices and agencies to respond to queries, requests for information, and other support to SAF/IEI programs.
  • Utilize the DAF Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) to complete assigned taskings on time for SAF/IE leadership approval

What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience working with DAF or DoD corporate processes, engaging in strategic partnerships with OSD, other Service, or DAF organizations such as the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) or the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC)
  • Substantial knowledge in installation and mission support areas
  • DoD Secret Clearance

You May Also Have:
  • Experience supporting Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, or the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Familiarity with and experience using the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2)
  • Experience working directly with AFIMC and AFCEC
  • Experience identifying, facilitating, or executing DoD real estate transactions
  • Experience with Air Force Installation Planning functions

Pay Range: Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
