As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist with Mulligan Funding, you will play an essential role in maintaining HR operations through payroll administration, benefits coordination, compliance, and employee records management. Reporting directly to the CHRO, this position requires an independent and proactive approach to managing day-to-day HR responsibilities. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth processes and compliance across various functions, supporting a positive employee experience and fostering collaboration within the department. With 6+ years of HR experience, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and provide reliable, efficient service to employees at all levels.

You will:
    • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing through Paylocity Time & Labor, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and managing wage garnishments.
    • Conduct regular payroll audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to company policies.
    • Track and audit timecard data to ensure compliance with attendance policies and support reliable payroll outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate employee records in Paylocity, upholding data integrity across employment history, benefits, and compliance documentation.
    • Coordinate open enrollment processes and address employee inquiries to facilitate efficient benefits administration and understanding.
    • Manage COBRA administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely processing of benefits continuation.
    • Manage leave of absences, disability claims, and accommodations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
    • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and introductions to key stakeholders to support a smooth transition.
    • Oversee the offboarding process, including final payroll processing, benefits termination, and conducting exit interviews to ensure compliance.
    • Organize and track completion of mandatory training sessions (e.g., Anti-Harassment, Workplace Violence), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular HR compliance audits to maintain adherence to labor laws and company policies, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
    • Identify and implement process improvements within HR operations to enhance efficiency and compliance.
    • Perform other duties typical of a Sr. HR Generalist role.


You have:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 6 years of HR experience in a generalist role, with expertise in payroll, benefits, and compliance.
    • Relevant HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP (preferred).
    • Proficiency in Paylocity or similar HRIS and payroll systems.
    • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
    • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to conduct thorough audits and implement process improvements.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally.

$110,000 - $138,350 a year

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $110,000 to $138,500 per year. In order to provide a competitive compensation package, Mulligan Funding takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to market compensation data, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
