Position Overview:

The Sr. Manager, Performance Media is a leader who will collaborate with Marketing & Channel Strategy leads in developing and executing comprehensive strategies across digital channels, including SEO/SEM, social media, display advertising, and additional media avenues. These media executions support the Air Miles brand, their partners, and advertisers under AMP Media.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Channel Strategy leads to design and implement effective strategies across various digital platforms.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance targets that align with business objectives, guiding the Performance Media team in their development and maintenance in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the execution and management of online marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROI) to create benchmarks for Partners and Brands, facilitating long-term performance evaluation.
  • Lead the operationalization of media services, refining media platform reconciliation processes, and ensuring profitability and margin optimization.
  • Manage a team of Performance Media Managers, Specialists, and the SEO Manager to drive excellence and stability in Performance Media, supporting our Partners and Financial Media Network.
  • Guide the team in optimizing campaigns with diverse goals and KPIs, ensuring that DSP recommendations are informed by historical performance and aligned with broader agency objectives.
  • Review and approve campaigns, ensuring budget alignment, accurate naming conventions, and appropriate ad platform selection for campaign objectives.


Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with in-platform expertise in at least one of the following: paid search, social media, programmatic digital display, remarketing, or affiliate marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Excel).
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the digital channel landscape, including campaigns across paid search, social, display, video, affiliates, and attribution methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Media platforms (YouTube, Google Ads, Shopping Ads, programmatic display/OLV exchanges) and their application across different scenarios.
  • Experience working closely with CRM teams, organic search experts, and branding teams is a plus


Salary:

$84,000.00 - $156,000.00

The above represents AIR MILES' pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES' expected target for the first year in this position.

AIR MILES' total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
