Leidos is seeking an (Enterprise Architecture Lead) to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-
wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners
operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The Lead Enterprise IT Architect shall serve as a technical delivery manager and provide subject-matter expertise to DTRA Government leadership including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for
enterprise-level architecture-related services throughout the scope of this Task Order.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior enterprise architect, leading the design and implementation planning to consolidate DTRA's services across infrastructure, network, identity, hosting, support, and end user capabilities.
  • Provide enterprise-level IT architecture-related services within the scope of this TO for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
  • Experience leading and delivering IT services for DoD or IC organizations that support CONUS and OCONUS customers or mission partners.
  • Set standards, enhance architectures, and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent delivery and quality of service across multiple government agencies.
  • Oversee and coordinate technical migration planning activities while monitoring and managing risks.
  • Brief senior DoD / Government management on active and proposed plans, technical issues, and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Work with the project teams to identify risks, dependencies, and propose mitigation activities to deliver migrations on schedule and within budget.
  • Work with team leadership to develop, enhance, and implement standardized migration processes and procedures.
  • Work across team members to document migration lessons learned for continual improvement of future migration activities.
  • Drive automation capabilities that increase engineering velocity and improved service delivery.
  • Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
  • Identify and manage technical risks with respect to infrastructure migrations and timelines
  • Communicate with stakeholders proactively throughout the project to gather inputs, keep them updated, and coordinate with other teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • R equires Masters with 15 - 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 - 16 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.
  • Experience with planning and transition of IT systems to DoD enterprise or shared services, cloud environments and/or to hybrid operating environments.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud and network topologies, both transport and IP.
  • This position requires extensive writing and the selected candidate MUST have superb writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more DoD 8140.01 certifications related to performance on this TO.
  • One or more cloud security (e.g., CompTIA, Cloud Security Alliance) or cloud-related technology certifications (e.g., MS Azure, Amazon Web Services).

Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
