We are looking for a dynamic Outbound Sales Manager to help us expand our footprint in the SMB market. This role is crucial to driving our growth strategy and will be responsible for leading and executing outbound sales efforts to target new SMB clients who could benefit from our POS solutions. This is an in-office role located in Tampa, Florida.

Role Overview:

As the Outbound Sales Manager at Lavu, Inc., you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing outbound sales team. You will lead the team in identifying, prospecting, and engaging potential SMB customers, using a highly personalized and consultative approach. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth by expanding our customer base and ensuring the Lavu solution meets the specific needs of small and medium-sized businesses in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to target SMBs in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, and bars. Focus on creating a tailored outreach approach to address the unique challenges faced by these businesses.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and manage a team of outbound sales representatives, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to help them meet individual and team quotas. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM):

Implement targeted ABM strategies to reach high-potential SMBs that would benefit most from Lavu's solutions. Coordinate with marketing to ensure the alignment of outbound efforts with broader campaigns.

Personalized Outreach:

Create highly personalized email, phone, and text outreach strategies for potential customers. Tailor messaging based on specific customer pain points, industry trends, and the unique value Lavu offers.

Sales Pipeline Management:

Oversee the management of the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups. Monitor and report on key metrics such as lead generation, demo conversion rates, and sales closures.

Product Demos and Engagement:

Partner with the sales team to present product demos that clearly demonstrate Lavu's value proposition and ROI for SMBs. Engage prospects throughout the buyer's journey and move them toward closing.

Market Research and Intelligence:

Stay on top of industry trends and competitive landscape. Conduct regular research to identify emerging market opportunities, customer pain points, and product needs within the SMB space.

Collaboration and Feedback:

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to provide feedback from the field. Collaborate to refine messaging, improve the sales process, and enhance the product offering based on customer insights.

Performance Reporting and Optimization:

Track and report on outbound sales KPIs, such as conversion rates, meetings set, demos delivered, and closed deals. Use data to optimize strategies and continuously improve team performance.

Leverage AI and Sales Automation Tools:

Utilize AI-powered sales tools, predictive analytics, and automation platforms to optimize lead scoring, outreach sequences, and customer engagement. Leverage AI to identify high-potential prospects, streamline repetitive tasks, and provide deeper insights into customer behaviors, helping the team work more efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Proven track record of successfully building an outbound sales system and driving outbound sales opportunities, particularly to SMBs, and delivering results.
  • 4+ years of experience in outbound sales or business development, preferably in a SaaS or tech-related environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales management or team lead role, managing and developing outbound sales teams.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM), personalized outreach, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
  • Data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Deep knowledge of the SMB market, particularly in the hospitality sector, is a plus.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to consistently hit targets.
