Job Description

Embark on an enriching journey with NBCU's Data Product team, focusing on entertainment-related data products. As a Senior Analyst, Data Products, you will immerse yourself in the exciting realm of data-driven solutions, collaborating with our teams to develop, enhance, and deploy data products that increase efficiency, drive actionable insights, and measure key performance indicators across NBCU. This role is pivotal in translating complex data into actionable insights and valuable products that meet the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support Product Strategy and Vision:
    • Assist in gathering and analyzing customer insights to support product strategy development, ensuring it aligns with user expectations and corporate goals.
    • Help research industry trends and emerging technologies to keep informed perspectives on market changes.
  2. Assist in Product Roadmap and Development:
    • Support the development and maintenance of the product roadmap by organizing features based on business value and customer feedback.
    • Participate in the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring attention to detail and quality.
    • Assist in creating product documentation, including requirements and user stories.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor product performance metrics, analyzing data to ensure objectives are met.
    • Collect user feedback for continuous product improvement and feature optimization.
    • Support iterative development processes, incorporating user insights to improve functionality.
    • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to answer key business questions.
  4. Stakeholder Support:
    • Help maintain strong communication with stakeholders, conveying product updates and findings clearly.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of data products that meet business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in data products or analytics
  • Ability to build and maintain Tableau dashboards; experience with SQL, Snowflake and/or BigQuery a plus
  • Knowledge of the Entertainment industry and a familiarity with NBCU programming
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and product management software.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is advantageous.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
