Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. Embark on an enriching journey with NBCU's Data Product team, focusing on managing data products. As a Product Manager, you will immerse yourself in the exciting realm of data-driven solutions, collaborating with our team to develop, enhance, and deploy data products that increase efficiency, drive actionable insights, and measure key performance indicators across NBCU. This role is pivotal in translating complex data into actionable insights and valuable products that meet the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products that align with corporate objectives and address key business needs.
- Gather and analyze customer insights to inform and refine the product strategy, ensuring it meets user needs and expectations.
- Clearly communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, fostering alignment and securing buy-in across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements, develop informed perspectives on changes, and keep up with emerging technologies to continually evolve the product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Product Roadmap and Development:
- Develop, maintain, and execute a detailed product roadmap that prioritizes features based on business value and customer impact, while balancing short-term improvements with long-term strategic goals.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage product backlogs and prioritize work based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze product performance using key metrics and analytics to ensure it meets business objectives.
- Continuously collect and integrate user feedback to improve the product and its features as well as identify new product needs.
- Implement iterative development processes, allowing for regular updates based on performance data and user insights.
- Regularly review and adjust product strategies to optimize features and overall user experience.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate product plans, progress, and performance effectively.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to deliver data products that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Present product updates and insights to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products or analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of data methodologies, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver successful data products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and product management software.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is advantageous.
